Well, perfect for late October, anyway, which meant that unlike in recent years, you could actually stroll around without your eyeballs freezing solid. Hundreds of kids in their scariest, sportiest, and creative(est) costumes turned out to haunt downtown and skulk away with candy handed out from the trunks of cars decorated by local businesses and organizations. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Downtown Red Wing was overrun with chills and thrills on Saturday, October 29, as <a href="http://www.downtownredwing.org/" target="_blank"><strong>Trunk or Treat</strong></a> made its terrifying return. Hundreds of kids in their scariest, sportiest, and creative(est) costumes turned out to haunt downtown and skulk away with candy handed out from the trunks of cars decorated by local businesses and organizations. <strong><a href="sheldontheatre.org" target="_blank">The Sheldon Theatre</a></strong> ran a kid-friendly a haunted house, Cornerstone Community Church offered a haunted carnival, pumpkins were carved in front of Lily&#8217;s and a 4H petting zoo made everyone scream in delight.</p>
<p>Trunk or Treat is a very cool event and you should definitely consider coming to Red Wing next year to get in on the fun. Until then, these photos should tide you over.
